But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Glory to Jesus in the highest.
The word of God is filled with golden words, that you can take refuge in, lean on, draw strength from, drink from and stand on.

Here we are faced with a choice.
A choice to change our status.
A choice to act, a choice of hope, a choice that we can be different from others.
THEY!….Not all,,
They! not the general!
They! not all the children of God.
They! not all who read the Bible and go to church.
They! not all who know about Jesus and what the kingdom offers.
THEY!

It is not “They” that wish to wait, or thinking about waiting, or planning to wait, or preaching about waiting, or meditating about waiting.
It is They that wait. They are not waiting for a friend or an uncle or a pastor or a reverend or a promise giver somewhere. They are not waiting on an institution, or a government. They are waiting on the Lord.
Hallelujah!
Waiting takes determination, waiting takes time, waiting is tasking, waiting can lead to seclusion, waiting takes you out of the group, waiting wearies and wear out the flesh.
Yet the power of the spirit lies in waiting upon the Lord.

When you are confused wait!
When you are down and out wait!
When you are tired and weary wait!
When you are burned out wait!
When you need a way out wait!
When you are not sure wait!
When you are held up wait!
When you need direction wait!

Those who wait on the Lord! The world will wait for them.
Those who wait on the Lord ends up at the top!
Those who wait on the Lord surpasses others!
Those who wait on the Lord are powered up!
Those who wait on the Lord don’t end in regret and shame!
Those that wait on the Lord gains height, gains ground, gains speed, gains time, gains all.
Those that wait on the Lord are never losers.
Oh I will wait upon the Lord.
Till my strength is renewed like that of an eagle.
Why stress when you can wait!
Why cry when you can wait!
Why give up when you can wait!
Why sorrow when you can wait!

Beloved there is something you can do!
There is something you can do about it.
There is something you can do right away!
There is a way out!
There is a door out. Out of that state of hopelessness and tiredness.
There is something more assuring. It is called waiting on the Lord!
You can do that and you can do it now!
Why not rise up and begin to wait on the Lord.
You can gain speed, you can recover all, you can mount up, you can soar. Just wait.

If not waiting what else? Start now! Start today!
Shout it out! I will wait on the Lord!
