Daily Nuggets – Saturday 26th of February 2022

 

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. James 5:7

Glory to Jesus in the Highest!

He is coming back again. No better way to put it. But the issue is not the coming back but rather….. He’s coming for who?

He is coming for those who through much patience and endurance will inherit the promise.

Waiting for the Lord may be demanding and long. Because the Lord is full of long suffering and not willing that any should perish . He delays his coming for the Harvest to be ready.

In between the gap of his departure and his return, so many things will happen
but it is he that endures to the end shall be saved.
Many will be tried and persecuted, shaken and pressed hard just for one reason to give up your faith. Give up what you stand for. To sell out and draw back.

There is a great battle over your faith in Christ. Before the Lords coming you will be faced with situations so for you to deny your faith, forsake your strong convictions and make changes just to meet up with the trends of time.

Before his return there will be many compromises.

The spirit of “it doesn’t really matter” will possess many.

Many will throw out of the window great godly qualities and characters.

Virtues will be lost and people will go about with chaffs.

Many will loose the main essence and be going about with the mundane.

Many will have a form of godliness. We will see more of fake than originality.

Within that space of time a lot of erosion would have taken place! Consciences eroded, spiritual life eroded, grace eroded, faith eroded and will be left with gullies here and there to be filled.

Within that space of time metamorphosis will take place in some peoples life they have metamorphosed into another personality. Anger is the order of the day.
They lie without any iota of feeling. Nothing bug or bothers them.

So also within that space of time. Some will Labour on. Endure the hardship. Fight with the dragon. Resist evil and ungodliness. Lift up the banner of Christ.

Some will be strong and do exploits. Some will chase a thousand and put ten thousands to flight.

Some will patiently wait. They will tarry till he comes. Face the stop, dare the mouth of the lions, race on without looking back.

These are the ones who have resolved to go with him by all means at all cost.

Today choose the right path. Be among those that are waiting patiently not IN VAIN but in TRUTH and IN DEED.

Resolve to be ready!
